Connect Me, Create Me, Promote Me

Contemporary Arts Space Mandurah (CASM) delivered a series of workshops in the Peel region focused on professional development of regional artists.  Key arts industry professionals including Paula Silbert, Helen Turner, Ross de Hoog, Monique Tipett and the Department of Culture and the Arts were engaged to deliver a series of workshops and presentations to the Peel region and outlying regional communities over a twelve and a half month period.

A total of fifteen workshops were held with 54 artists attending from the Peel, Southwest and Wheatbelt regions. On average each artist attended 3-4 workshops each. The workshops aimed to engage, network, create, build, re-energise and reinforce the creative and cultural sectors’ professional capacity. Topics included Developing & Maintaining Professional Relationships between the Artist and the Gallery,  Self Marketing, Capacity Building, Do it Yourself Digital Marketing and Website Development.
