Regional Arts WA celebrates and strengthens a powerful regional arts sector to contribute to connected and creative regional communities.

Established in 1994, Regional Arts WA is the State’s only multi-arts organisation with a purely regional focus.

Communications Assistant

Regional Arts WA is looking for a Full-Time Communications Assistant who has a passion for arts and marketing particularly social media. They are a quick learner, proactive and enjoy working with people in a team environment. This is a great entry level position for someone who is looking to work in an art, community and/or not-for-profit sector.

The applicant is to provide a current CV and address the following criteria in a separate document with solid demonstration of the following:

  • Demonstrated passion and/or experience working in marketing and branding processes.
  • Demonstrated skills and interest in social media
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-developed administrative skills, including sound computer skills.
  • Ability to manage time and to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.

The applicant should also address the following:

  • General knowledge of and interest in regional Western Australia, culture and the arts, and/or community development
  • A current C class licence

The following qualification/s will be highly regarded, but are not essential:

  • Marketing Communications
  • Community & cultural development
  • Arts management
  • Arts at a tertiary level
