Regional Arts WA (RAWA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Johnson as a new member of our Board, serving as Treasurer.

Paul Johnson is a finance professional with almost 40 years of experience, specialising in finance systems, with a proven track record of building, upgrading, and transforming financial management systems to support business performance and decision-making. For the last 16 years, he has held many finance roles at the University of Western Australia (UWA), where he’s currently the Finance Business Partner for the College of Schools, providing strategic financial advice to the twenty-one schools at UWA. Before migrating to Australia in 2010, Paul worked across diverse industries in the UK, including newspaper publishing, travel, marketing, and telecommunications. In his spare time, he’s working on a book of short stories, and plans to write full-time on retirement!

RAWA looks forward to drawing on Paul’s financial expertise and experience as the organisation continues to support the regional and remote arts sector across Western Australia.

RAWA also thanks outgoing Treasurer David Wall for his dedication and contributions to the Board. David’s guidance has helped steer the organisation’s finances through a period of significant growth, and the Board is grateful for the time and care he has given to the role.
