THE LONG GAME: Wellbeing and Sustainable Performance at Work 

Date: Friday 18 September

Time: 10am – 11am AWST

Venue: State Theatre Centre of WA, Rehearsal Room One. 

This workshop provides practical, evidence-based strategies for navigating high workloads, limited resources and increasing workplace pressures.

Participants will explore sustainable ways of working, strengthen communication and boundary-setting skills, and identify team practices that foster psychological safety, collaboration and long-term wellbeing.

REWIRE: Mental Health Basics for Creative Work

Managing Mental Health in the Arts is an interactive workshop, grounded in research and lived industry experience. It unpacks what is driving stress and burnout across the arts and creative industries, the common psychosocial hazards shaping studios and institutions, and how uncertainty and identity-linked work affect your nervous system and creativity.

CREATIVE MINDS: Sustainable Wellbeing for Creative Work

Date: Saturday 19 September

Time: 10am – 11am AWST

Venue: Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre

Creative Minds is an immersive, interactive workshop designed to help creatives build a more sustainable relationship with their work, their wellbeing and themselves.

Participants explore the myths and realities of creativity, clarify their values and creative identity, and develop practical approaches to goal-setting, recovery, focus and creative renewal.

Superannuation in the Creative Industries

Wondering what superannuation has to do with health and wellbeing? It’s not as much of a stretch as it seems: financial wellbeing is a real part of overall mental health and wellbeing. With that in mind, here’s a reminder about Creative Workplaces’ information session on Superannuation in the Creative Industries.

The Support Act Wellbeing Helpline

Creative Workplaces partners with Support Act to provide the Support Act Wellbeing Helpline, a free phone counselling service for anyone working in Australian music or the creative industries. You don’t have to be in a crisis to call the Helpline. 

They have dedicated support lines for LGBTQI+, First Nations, Manager Support, and Safety at Work.
