Thrive! Regional Arts, Culture and Creativity Investment Framework 2025-2029 is our five-year integrated strategy to support arts and cultural organisations across regional Western Australia. It aims to foster collaboration, build cross-sector partnerships, and increase investment in the regional arts and culture sector and regional communities.
We are committed to supporting sustainable regional arts and cultural organisations across WA, recognising their central role in local activity and enhancing the vibrancy and liveability of our state’s regional and remote communities.
By driving co-investment in these organisations, we aim to significantly enhance regional sector leadership, grassroots creative activity, employment, and participation in arts and culture.

Regional Arts WA is implementing an integrated model structured around four domains. These domains form the foundation of initiatives and targeted activities. At the core of the model is Sustainable Organisations, aimed at ensuring Western Australia has strong, connected and sustainable organisations.
Supporting the base are Statewide Leaderships and Career Development, and Industry Excellence and Connection. Together, these domains support the creative workforce, artists and volunteers and enhance sector connectivity, essential for a thriving regional sector.
At the top is Regional Liveability and Vibrancy, which addresses why it is critical to invest in and build the capacity and capabilities of the organisations and creative workforce.
The goal is to foster sustained place-based creative products, programs and services that build cross-sector partnerships, collaboration and community engagement. Over time, this will enhance the liveability and vibrancy of communities across all regions of Western Australia.
