Lesley has lived in Mandurah since 2006 and worked within the City for over 7 years as the Director for People and Communities at the City of Mandurah, giving her extensive experience of the issues impacting the regions. Now working with the the City of Wanneroo as Manager for Cultural Development Lesley has developed extensive knowledge of arts and culture and the impact the sector has on communities and individuals in developing cohesiveness, creativity, economic development and building community, especially in the regions.
Lesley was the Chair of John Tonkin College and Deputy Chair of Mandurah Performing Arts Centre as well as participating as a member on a number of other boards. She holds a Masters of Leadership and Management, is a Member of the Australian Institute of Management and continues to attend training to increase her skills and knowledge particularly in the arts and culture area.
Lesley’s wide range of skills include finance, marketing, management, leadership and strategic planning.
