Cate Creedon
Cate’s love of the arts started at school with early morning choir and band practice, followed by after school drama clubs. Initially wanting to set the theatre world alight, Cate studied English Literature and Theatre Arts at university.
Following her role as Music Administrator at a Perth high-school, coordinating ensembles, tours and events, Cate decided to return to university to build her skills and broaden her horizons. Having recently completed an Arts Management degree at WAAPA, Cate is ready to put those new skills to good use!
Cate’s passion for regional communities started with hearing stories from her Dad of his life growing up on a dairy farm in the South West – closely followed by regular pilgrimages to any machinery field days they could get to.
Working as Network Assistant for Regional Arts WA is the perfect combination of skills, passion and enthusiasm for Cate, and she can’t wait to work with colleagues, artists, arts workers and community members throughout regional Western Australia.
