Broome is a tourist town in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Theatre Kimberley is a vibrant and energetic regional community arts organisation. The organisation plays a vital role in the community providing young people with access to programs, skills and essential tools to help make healthy and creative life choices. The Royalties for Regions Creative Regions program provided young people with a unique opportunity to collaborate with two interstate artists, Anni Davey and Tom Davis.

The project was called ‘Total Re-Build’ where students performed a circus act reflecting the narrative of a cyclonic and post-cyclonic experience in Broome. The artists delivered a wide-range of new skills to over 70 young people including a mentorship with two emerging local circus artists. The youth relished the new skills the remarkable artists imparted and the community were absolutely blown away by the dedication of the students and the high standard of the performances each night.
