Drug Aware Bruce Rock Youth Fest
To celebrate National Youth week 2014 young people from the Wheatbelt town of Bruce Rock developed a week long program of artistic skills development and activities. Young coordinators engaged professional visual artist Sarah Kilgariff to teach skills in painting with acrylics as well as intertwining feelings into art.
The workshops covered a variety of techniques and skills including exploring colour symbolism, using different paint brush shapes, using acrylic paints and how to create the effects you want in your painting.

On the final day a community celebration and sausage sizzle was held with various career and information stands available.
