Two Project Coordinators saw an opportunity to engage in a Public work of art that would be well-received, boost their skills, and last a number of years in their community.
Young people in Bunbury were mentored by mural artist Andrew Frazer, where they participated in a series of workshops before transferring the skills they
learnt onto the mural. Workshop participants developed skills in design, drawing, painting, and mural methodology. The community of Bunbury came together for the unveiling of the mural.
“The project brought a new outlook to the Koombana Bay and Jetty Road region of Bunbury by spreading a positive health image onto the two walls, which are viewed by many people amongst the community on a day-to-day basis.”
