East Kimberley Indigenous Print and Jewellery
In the lead up to the 2014 Barramundi Dreaming Concert a series of workshops where delivered in fabric and jewellery making.
The East Kimberley Indigenous Print and Jewellery project was led by artists Megan Kirwan-Ward and Rozzi George to encapsulate Indigenous East Kimberley designs and develop skills for participants in the creative industries. Established Waringarri Artists attended and learnt new skills, as well as influencing young Indigenous participants from the Kimberley region, attendees from East Kimberley Job pathways and clients from the Youth Justice Services.
The materials produced at these workshops were then showcased on the catwalk of the Barramundi Dreaming Concert 2014 by young models.
