Drug Aware Quandong Project

This project took young men on Country with elders to learn about the uses of quandong.
Starting on Country at Kalbarri with a painting workshop, participants were then taken on excursions out to the quandong trees around Galena and Ajana. These young men were invited to make tapping sticks with wood harvested sustainably on Country with cultural guidance.
Later in the year a series of workshops were offered for those who had participated, allowing everyone to get involved with mosaics, carpentry, printmaking and textiles.
