Concert Performance of the Baroque Opera The Fairy Queen

Denmark Baroque received Quick Response grant to support the professional presentation of the semi-opera – The Fairy Queen, by Henry Purcell in October 2021.
The performance is part two of a three stage project involving a community choir and orchestra and is supported by an Early Music specialist music director, soloists from Perth and Melbourne and a professional string quartet. Grant funding was used to support professional fees for regionally based musicians and quality lighting design.
