Camera Story Photography Workshops

Broome CIRCLE partnered with Camera Story and the Bidyadanga Women’s Centre to run a series of photography workshops in Broome and Bidyadanga.
These workshops covered a range of topics from technical aspects through to focused creative development with two exhibitions at the end of the project in both Broome and Bidyadanga. The Exhibitions introduced the women to photography as a viable career path. The focus was on building capacity and confidence amongst women in the community and providing the women with a safe space where they can explore their creativity, culture and identity through a camera lens.
