Big Wide Land is a series of large pastel drawings produced by Joel Smoker from his travels around Western Australia.

The series will be shown in an exhibition at Bunbury Regional Art Gallery. The exhibition opening will be on Friday the 21st of February 2020 and will run through to Sunday the 5th of April. All are welcome to attend. You can see a digital gallery showcasing some of the work below!

Following on from his Way Out West series of drawings on A2 paper Joel has been working on A1 paper to produce the Big Wide Land series. These pastel drawings can be seen on Joel’s website at www.joelsmoker.com

When travelling the state Joel selected sites to draw based on places he found personally interesting. Joel hopes you will find the drawings interesting too.
