Goldfields-Esperance Arts and Culture Framework
After an intensive and collaborative community consultation process conducted across the Goldfields-Esperance region, Country Arts WA, in partnership with the Regional Development Australia Goldfields Esperance department (RDAGE), created the Goldfields-Esperance Arts and Culture Framework 2015-2020: a planning resource for organisations to aid development of successful arts and culture frameworks, and for organisations applying for arts project funding.
The framework was launched in Kalgoorlie-Boulder on Wednesday 5 August 2015, and in Esperance on Thursday 6 August 2015.
During the developmental stages of the Goldfields-Esperance Arts and Culture Framework 2015-2020 there was a clear consensus that leadership and skills development was in real need throughout region. In response, Country Arts WA secured funding from Goldfields Esperance Development Commission, through the Royalties for Regions Regional Grants Scheme to deliver the Artful Leadership for Community Building program during 2015.
