Scheme Four
Country Arts WA’s Scheme Four program is made possible by the State Government’s and the Department of Local Government, Sport and Creative Industries’ Royalties for Regions Creative Regions Program, a $24 million investment in culture and the arts. Scheme Four has a funding allocation of $5.7 million, and is one of five schemes being delivered through the Royalties for Regions investment.
The initiative is delivered through a memorandum of understanding between the Department of Local Government Sport and Creative Industries (DLGSC) and the Department of Regional Development (DRD).
Scheme Four has three pillars of delivery:
Regional Arts Legacy Grants
The Regional Arts Legacy Grants (RALG) will provide funding to regional arts and cultural organisations, local government, and regional artists. RALG will act as a catalyst to stimulate and support arts activity in all art forms across the nine regions of Western Australia.
Regional Arts Partnership Program
The Regional Arts Partnership Program (RAPP) will be created in collaboration with peak service organisations and informed by a dialogue with regional arts organisations and artists.
