Workshop | An Ecosystem for Arts and Ideas

Gemma Robins

Got an idea for an arts project but need help to make it happen?

The City of Albany’s Vancouver Arts Centre are currently seeking expressions of interest from Albany (300km radius) based artists/artsworkers keen to participate in a weekend intensive workshop facilitated by creative producer, choreographer and experienced artsworker, Annette Carmichael.

The workshop titled An Ecosystem for Arts and Ideas will take place at the end of July, caters for a maximum of nine participants and costs $350-  including accommodation and meals at our residency accommodation on Vancouver Street.

The Vancouver Arts Centre is offering three fully funded places to Albany residents (supported through their artist/curator fund which benefits from an annual fundraising exhibition.)

If you are a resident of Albany, you just need to send a brief outline of your project idea, how you think it will benefit our community and include a brief paragraph about yourself saying why you need this professional development. Proposals must be submitted on email by 4pm, Thursday 4 June 2015.
