Unique opportunity to work for a leading arts organisation in Western Australia. FORM is looking for a talented individual to manage the Port Hedland Courthouse Gallery, one of the Pilbara’s key cultural and social hubs.
The role is based in Port Hedland, housing is provided.
The Manager of the Port Hedland Courthouse Gallery is responsible for the overall running of the Gallery including its programs, exhibitions and retail outlet. This full-time role involves working closely with other team members in supporting FORM’s other Port Hedland venues with regard to strategic planning and the development of cultural tourism development initiatives.
The ability to organise and manage multiple projects is essential, as is being able to work with a team to meet deadlines. Close liaison at all times is required with internal team members across all of FORM’s Hedland venues, as well as with the team based in the Perth office. The ability to cultivate strong external relationships with partners, funders, customers and clients will also be critical.
The role also involves delivery of programs outside of business hours including markets, exhibitions, special events, delivery of skills development programs across the regional program.
The successful applicant will undergo training in the Perth office before assuming responsibilities in Port Hedland.
