The folk and world music original songwriting competition for high-school-aged West Australians is back for 2015.
Songwriting in folk and world music genres tell stories about people and the places they come from. This competition is your chance to tell us your stories and for us to hear your music!
The winning entrants in each age group and songwriting and performance categories will be awarded:
- Fairbridge Festival Youthopia stage performance on Sunday 12 April (times TBA) plus festival entry tickets and camping for the individual performer or band members with an accompanying parent or guardian
- Pirate88 FM Recording Studio session
- Professional photo-shoot from HK Photography
- Free WAM Song of the Year 2015 entry
- Opportunity to perform at the WAM Festival 2015
Entries must be your original material and be received by 6 March, 5pm with a $20 admin fee.
