Total Rebuild is the Act-Belong-Commit Sandfly Circus’s major production for 2015. Written and directed by Frank Batty and Rueben Pedlar, this dynamic new work puts the audience at the centre of a cyclone. Hold on to your seats and hang on for a wild ride! But when cyclonic destruction comes to town, there’s only one response for our young Broome crew: REBUILD! Acrobatic feats and clowning catastrophes will tell the story better than words can.

Australian circus heavyweight Anni Davey (Circus Oz) joins Theatre Kimberley from Melbourne to mentor two young directors in the creation of this work. Accomplished as an aerialist, stage performer and director, Davey has a lifetime of experience in professional and community circus.

Audiences will experience high octane performances in minitramp, sliding table, hoop diving, and juggling, and will enjoy thrilling aerial performances on spinning web, triple trapeze, tissue and lyra. They will meet a handful of young people who spend more time in the air than on the ground.

The Act-Belong-Commit Sandfly Circus has become the premiere regional youth circus in WA. They welcome nationally and internationally renowned artists to assist in local training and production development. Their annual productions regularly thrill sell-out crowds, and numerous recent Sandfly graduates are now performing professionally across Australia and around the world.

Tickets are available for sale from www.theatrekimberley.org.au and also from the Broome Visitors Centre.
