The Exchange & Regional Peak Partnership Program forum

Each year Country Arts WA’s holds The Exchange a forum which brings funded regional arts organisations together for discussion, professional development and networking.
This year The Exchange was held at Fairbridge Village from 23-25 November and included independent artists and metropolitan peak service organisation joining the conversation on the second day to participate in the Regional Peak Partnership Program (RPPP) Forum.

The first day had the regional organisations explore ‘What are the possibilities for great collaboration’ under the guidance of Karrak Consulting via an Open Space format. Coverage of this topic was thorough, with great ideas put forward to breakdown isolation through sharing and working with each other however and wherever possible.
The Regional Peak Partnership Program (RPPP) Forum was held to discuss one of the three main pillars under Scheme Four.
Discussions held over 2 days with representation from the majority of the peak service organisations meeting with regional arts organisations and artists. The explorative conversations where held between all participants about how the Regional Peak Partnership Program can be the vehicle for a new and innovative way of working.
“What are the possibilities for greater collaboration?” was explored and the main purpose of the forum was twofold: to explore and gain a shared and agreed understanding of the possibilities for collaborative action
Through a rigorous, inspiring, thought provoking few days the delegates came together to form the key principles of the RPPP, with shared values of authenticity, connection and collaboration.
