Humanity is compelled to draw: lines in the sand with a sharp stick, quick sketches with pen and ink, telephone doodles with a blunt 2B pencil and now complex designs in the virtual realm. Whatever we draw and however we draw, it is a powerful way for us to be who we are and to tell our stories…
- Get involved in public experimental drawing events for all ages with artists Indra Geidans and Serena McLauchlan
- Take a masterclass workshop with visiting artists Marie Haass and Angela Stewart
- See the touring exhibition of intricate and exquisite drawings called Drawing Matters
- Join in to the community Instagram exhibition; post your drawings using #bigdrawalbany
- Come along to the Big Draw exhibition opening party on Wed 28 October; featuring action drawing, live DJ and a great vibe
