Regional Arts WA announces new board members
New Board Members bring deep understanding of accessibility, business, and youth arts.
Regional Arts WA is pleased to announce two new Board Members, Bobbi Lockyer from the Pilbara and Grace Crogan from the Mid West region. The new Board Members bring valuable insights, skills and knowledge across youth engagement, accessibility, digital media, commercial and community development.
Bobbi Lockyer is an artist based in Port Hedland and she is a Ngarluma, Karriyarra (Pilbara) Yawuru, Nyulnyul (Kimberley) woman. She has an established regional business in the Pilbara running for over ten years and has worked for clients such as BHP, Creating Communities, WA Ballet, FORM, JaBaT Dance, and Spinifex Hill Studio.

Grace Crogan is a skilled visual artist and is passionate about the public arts sector and making it more accessible and available to the wider community. She has previously lent her skills at the Kalbarri Zest Festival, Propel Youth Arts and their KickstART Festival, Art Gallery of WA, Foundation for the WA Museum, Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, and Perth Festival.

Regional Arts WA Chair Ted Snell welcomes the newly appointed Board Members and says he is excited to have such passionate people aboard to lead regional arts and culture in WA.
“Grace and Bobbi bring a wealth of knowledge across the arts and can speak directly of their experience working in the regions. We are delighted to harness their expertise and advocacy to better fulfil our mission of supporting and encouraging creative engagement across this vast State.”
The new Board Members will join newly reappointed Fiona Sinclair at Southern Forest Arts in the South West, and existing Board Members; Barbara Bynder, Indigenous Consultant based in the Wheatbelt; Jim Morrison, Goreng Minang Noongar Elder; Ken Mills Community Leader from Goldfields-Esperance; Lesley Wilkinson, Local Government Professional; Oliver Bazzani, Director and Co-Founder of a creative agency; Soula Veyradier, Director of Programs for the International Arts Space; and Ted Snell, Arts and Culture Leader.
