Stanthorpe Art Festival Awards

The Stanthorpe Art Festival is now calling for entries for our 2016 prize and although they’re situated in QLD, many entries come from WA artists.
Prizes
- $20,000 prize for the overall winner of the Stanthorpe Art Festival 2016. (can be 3D or 2D work)
- $5000 Significant Work Award. Each judge will make their own choice for these two awards. (can be 3D or 2D work)
- $1000 Emerging Artist Award.
Judges
- Ron Ramsey – Ian Potter Museum of Art, University of Melbourne (2D judge)
- Jason Smith – QAGoMA (3D judge)
Pre-selected artists are required to make a one page submission for this award. Both judges suggest will view the submissions and collaborate to decide the winner. Likewise, a collaborated effort will determine the winner of the $1000 Local Artist award.
