New Federal Arts Minister visits Country Arts WA

On Thursday, 10 December Senator the Hon. Mitch Fifield, Minister for the Arts and WA Senator the Hon. Linda Reynolds, met with Country Arts WA representatives, CEO Jessica Machin, Chair Ross Beckett and team members Jessica Anderson, Tegan Morey and Fiona McCaul at the King Street Arts Centre in Perth.
The topics discussed in this meeting were the Regional Arts Fund, the vision for regional arts in WA and what the possibilities are for greater collaboration, new models and ways of working and the new government focus on innovation.
The Senators also met with the Aboriginal Art Centre Hub Western Australia (AACHWA) Coordinator, Christine Scoggin and AACHWA Board Member, Jenni Collard during their visit.
