Relationships can be hard work, but if you need some good advice worry not – Barbara and Barry are touring the countryside with plenty of tips for your love life.

Featuring songs from jazz and blues legends like Eartha Kitt, Louis Arnstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Bessie Smith, Nat King Cole and many more, audiences of the Barbara & Barry’s Sweet, Sour & Saucy radio show, presented by Country Arts WA and Act-Belong-Commit, will be immersed in strong sultry vocals, virtuosic piano playing and rich harmonies.

Coming off of five star reviews at Edinburgh Fringe, real life couple Melissa Western and Tnee Dyer will be getting up close and personal with the regional WA communities with their silly love aids and matchmaking!

Barbara & Barry’s Sweet, Sour & Saucy will be visiting the Wheatbelt, Goldfields-Esperance, Great Southern, South West and the Mid West regions in August and September as part of 2017 Shows on the Go program.

“Country Arts WA is proud of our Shows on the Go program which continues to grow in size and scope as we help to connect more regional towns with their communities,” says Country Arts WA’s Executive Director, Paul MacPhail.

“As part of the program, Country Arts WA supports local presenters to build and engage their audiences and maximise the value of the visiting performances.”

Melissa Western from Barbara & Barry’s Sweet Sour & Saucy says, “When Country Arts WA told us we were chosen by WA communities to be part of the 2017 Show on the Go program, we were very excited. We can’t wait to bring our vintage talkback radio love show to everyone in regional WA!”

The Shows on the Go program is presented by Country Arts WA and Healthway promoting the Mentally Healthy WA campaign message, Act-Belong-Commit.
