Regional Arts WA
Our Patron, The Honourable Kim Beazley AC, Governor of Western Australia and Ms Annus hosted a Reception at Government House for Regional Arts WA in October. The occasion celebrated the Regional Arts Network Initiative.
It provided a rare opportunity for the Hubs and Hub sponsors, our Board members and staff to come together in person and the grandeur lent to the occasion by the Governor and Government House gave recognition to the hard work of the regional arts organisations. It was also an opportunity to introduce the work of the Network to a wider audience.
The Governor, our Deputy Chair Lesley Wilkinson and Katie Evans from the Junction Co in the Pilbara spoke about the impact of the Network and the benefits of connecting across the vast distances of regional WA.
