The WA Local Government Association (WALGA) in partnership with Chamber of the Arts and Culture WA and Community Arts Network (CAN) is hosting a Cultural Planning Forum for Local Government. Join them on the Wednesday 18 November to hear from Robyn Archer on how to embed cultural planning in your Council.

Robyn Archer AO is a singer, writer, artistic director and public advocate for the arts. She is currently Artistic Director of The Light in Winter, created for Federation Square, Melbourne and the City of Gold Coast’s Strategic Advisor, Arts and Culture, which hosts the Commonwealth Games in 2018. She recently completed 5 years as Creative Director of the Centenary of Canberra 2013.

The day will also include presentations from the Department of Culture and the Arts, the Chamber of Arts and Culture and Local Governments. CAN will complete the day with a practical workshop to equip you with the skills and knowledge to create vibrant communities.
