Call For Performers | 2016 Fairbridge Festival
On-line performer applications are now open for the 2016 Fairbridge Festival (15-17 April 2016).
Fairbridge Festival is Western Australia’s most popular family camping festival. This friendly celebration of folk, roots, blues, acoustic, Celtic, a capella and world music takes place annually in April, in the traffic-free, self-contained bushland site of Fairbridge Village on the South West Highway, 5 km north of Pinjarra and 100 km south of Perth’s outlying south-eastern suburbs.
Information and Tips
International Applications:
Please be aware that the organisers can only consider your application if you are represented by an agent in Australia. Your agent will be responsible for organising your work permit, your tax file number, Australian Business Number and other necessities. The Festival organiser is not in a position to pay international airfares. Quality international folk/roots acts are welcome at the festival, but can only do so as part of a broader Australian tour managed from within Australia.
Interstate Applications:
Most of the Festival’s interstate acts are booked by invitation. However, don’t let this put you off! Submitting an application allows the organiser to discover talent and acts they may not know about. If you don’t get accepted this year – there is always the chance you’ll be invited next year!
Applications close: Friday 21 August 2015.
