Call For Artists| 2015 Hedland Art Awards

The Awards are open to artists living within the Pilbara, MidWest, Gascoyne, Goldfields, and Kimberley regions. In the case of transient residents the artist must have spent the majority of the past year in these regions. Individuals are invited to enter a maximum of two (2) pieces of their own, original artwork, which have been created within the year prior to the 2015 Hedland Arts Awards (i.e. since August 2014).
Artworks submitted must not have been exhibited in any form prior to being entered in the Awards and all artworks entered must be for sale. Artworks of any medium may be entered except photography and digital media. Digital media and photography may only be used in support of the main work, but may not be the main component. It is advised that anyone submitting work with photographic or digital components first consult the curatorial team (curatorial@form.net.au) as all pre-selection and judging decisions will be final and no discussion will be entered into.
ENTRY PROCESS
- Entry forms and fees must be received at the Port Hedland Courthouse Gallery, PO Box 856, Port Hedland WA 6721, by 20 July 2015. Late entries will not be accepted.
- The non-refundable entry fee is $35 per work submitted ($20 concession for students under 18 years of age, pension and social security benefit recipients. Proof of age and benefit status will be required).
- Only credit card or cheque can be accepted.
