Australia’s new cultural policy
‘Revive puts the arts back where they are meant to be – at the heart of our national life’ – Prime Minister Anthony Albanese
An exciting day for the arts! This morning, the Australian Government officially launched Revive – Australia’s new Cultural Policy. Revive marks an important step in strengthening our arts and cultural sector into the future.
Regional Arts WA is particularly interested in the increased resources to the regional arts sector. We look forward to continuing our work with the Australian Government and Regional Arts Australia to deliver the Regional Arts Fund.
Other promising news includes a First Nations first approach, and the expansion of the Australia Council for the Arts.
