The RASI program supports core operational costs of regional Western Australian arts organisations.
RASI funding is available to regionally-based not-for-profit organisations that deliver a program of arts activities to the community.
Funding recipients are determined through an open and competitive grant round assessed by an independent panel. Successful applicants are funded for three years from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2027.
How to apply
Regionally based not-for-profit Western Australian arts organisations that deliver a program of arts activities to their community.
The organisations must:
- Create, present or support relevant, diverse, challenging and exciting arts and cultural experiences for regional Western Australian communities;
- Support the development of the regional arts and cultural sector; and
- Contribute to the cultural and economic diversity in regional communities through the employment of professional regional artists and arts workers, and the support of skills transfer opportunities.
Applicants must be based in localities classified as regional according to the WA State Government’s Regional Development Commission Boundaries. Refer to this map to check: Regions and Local Government Areas – Western Australia
