Uncertainty – a solo exhibition by Chamari Liyanage | Geraldton
Chamari Liyanage and ACDC Community Gallery invite you to Chamari’s first solo exhibition “UNCERTAINTY” 7 – 30 September, 2017.
The Exhibition showcases Chamari’s art work in order to raise awareness of family and domestic violence; the colours and brushstrokes expose the resilience, positivity and the enduring dignity of the human soul. “My work is from my past experiences and emotions but also from listening to many others who are going through or have witnessed family and domestic violence” says the artist, Chamari. “I believe that art is a powerful medium to tell our hidden stories to the rest of the world. Also there is hope for people who go through it, hope for positivity and a better future”.
