Heartwalk is a grassroots public art project that seeks to transform the Kalgoorlie CBD into a vibrant arts and cultural precinct.

In May 2017 the Heartwalk festival took Kalgoorlie-Boulder by storm as the first large scale public art project of its kind in the WA Goldfields. In the space of one week, 29 stunning murals were painted by local and visiting artists on blank walls and empty shop windows in the Kalgoorlie CBD in an explosion of colour and energy.

The week-long mural festival returns on 30th April – 6th May 2018, bigger and brighter than ever. Click here for the 2018 Heartwalk Program.

Heartwalk is made possible by investment from Government of Western Australia Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, Royalties for Regions, Goldfields Esperance Development CommissionCity of Kalgoorlie BoulderRegional Arts Australia, Regional Arts FundCountry Arts WAKCGM and our wonderful local sponsors, stakeholders and volunteers.
