Call for Nominations: Join Our Board and Drive Positive Change in Regional Communities!

Are you passionate about creativity, equity, and driving positive change? Regional Arts WA is seeking nominations from individuals who share our vision.

Whether you’re deeply rooted in the arts scene, a tech or corporate professional with a love for creativity, or a young trailblazer eager to make your mark – we would love to hear from you.

We are specifically looking for individuals with expertise in:

  • Marketing and Communications
  • Digital Transformation / Tech
  • Advocacy and Strategy
  • Corporate Experience

We also welcome nominations from individuals who represent and/or understand the needs of young people.

Each member of the Regional Arts WA Board brings a diversity of skills, experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds that enable us to govern to fulfill our vision of connected and creative regional communities.

First Nations people, those identifying as LGBTQIA+, people of all ages, with disabilities and people of colour are encouraged to apply.

What do I need to submit? 

A completed and signed nomination form and personal profile that outlines the candidate’s relevant skill set beneficial to the Regional Arts WA Board. 

How do I submit my nomination form? 

Nominations forms are accepted via email or post. 

Email: info@regionalartswa.org.au noting ‘Nominations’ in the Subject heading. 

Mail: Operations Officer, Regional Arts WA, PO Box 7012 Cloisters Square WA 6850. 

When do I need to do it by? 

Nomination forms and personal profiles must be received by Regional Arts WA no later than 5pm on Wednesday 17 April 2024. Nominations cannot be accepted after this deadline. 

What happens next? 

Regional Arts WA’s Nominations Committee will review the nominations against the selection criteria and ballot papers will be prepared and distributed to members. 

The Ballot papers will be distributed by Wednesday 1 May and will close Sunday 12 May 2024

The secret votes will be collected by the Returning Officer and the outcome of the election will be announced at the Regional Arts WA Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 22 May 2024
